Well, I guess I was mistaken in thinking all landlords are slumlords. I got my deposit back, with about $55 worth of deductions for replacing some hardware for the mini blinds (I broke one of the turning rods) and cleaning of the tub. When I would shower Bertie, I would bring in clay pots into the tub. These left red marks that were impossible to remove with Comet and even Zud. He didn’t even charge me for delaminating the wood floor in a few spots from plant pots or the stains on the carpet. While it took me 4 long days of work, it was worth it for $800 back. This mostly went to the housewarming party I threw last night.

Thanks to everyone who made it to the party last night! I had a lot of fun. I think I squeezed out a couple pictures before the camera ran out of memory. I’ll post them later today.
