Here is how to fix your Canon’s “memory card error” problem.

– Removed the CF card
– Held down ‘Menu’ key until I could reset to factory default settings
– Popped in card
– Formatted it
– Restarted camera.

A google search to a camera review site yeilded this gem. I was able to take about 5000 pictures of Loren and Marisol’s wedding by employing this fix, and didn’t have to wait to have my camera fixed (probably using the same method) by Canon, albeit for free. I am waiting to hear back from Loren and Marisol before I post these on the blog, or at least until I give them the originals.
